New Media Entrepreneurship
Program Overview
Television, video and multimedia industries require personnel who are able to work as a member of a production team and as a self-starting individual who takes initiative and responsibility for production work.
While at Learning Agents eStudio, students will learn what it's like in a working multimedia production environment as well as what owning your own multimedia business is like.
Students will learn basic technical skills in photography, audio recording and editing, video production as well as website creation. Because communication is a vital part of the New Media industry as well as business ownership, students will also take on the roles of writers, interviewers, interviewees, profile recruiters and project planners.
Throughout the program students will practice organizational strategies such as brainstorming, mind mapping, and story-boarding. They will be encouraged to work both in groups and as individuals.
